Autumn edition of the Warsaw Beer Festival is another chance to meet Szalpiw brewery!
Szalpiw is a contract brewery established in 2013 in Poznan. Family business of Jan and Wojciech Szala who had as the first goal to familiarise Polish beer enthusiasts with Belgian styles. They later became widely known for their very good line of sour beers which entered their regular portfolio. The sign of their affection for their city is the fact that Szalpiw’s beers are often named using words from local slang from Poznan, thus keeping the words alive.
Remember to visit Szalpiw’s stand at the festival not only when you’ll have a craving for something sour 😉
